Rolling the Perfect Doink: Step by Step

What You'll Need

• 9mm+ rolling tip (cardboard, pre-cut)
• Rice or hemp paper (king size)
• Ground material (medium-coarse)
• A rolling tray

Step 1: Prepare Your Tip

Create an M-fold at one end of your tip card. Roll it tightly but not so tight it collapses the channel. Insert into the wide end of your paper.

Step 2: Load Your Cone

Place your paper in a U-shape. Add material evenly, building up toward the non-tip end in a slight cone shape.

Step 3: The Roll

Pinch the paper between thumbs and forefingers. Begin rolling back and forth to pack the material. Once the shape is right, begin the tuck.

Step 4: The Tuck

This is where doinks are made or broken. Tuck the non-glue side down and over, rolling with your thumbs while your fingers guide. Lick the glue strip last.
